What is Eldmere?

Eldmere is a coastal university city built on cliffs, where

wolf-shifter packs live. The sea is always in the background, the sound of waves against rock, the scent of salt and the constant pull of the moon over everything.

Most stories here orbit Eldmere University and the packs that claim territory around it, especially the infamous Sigma Moon Pack.

Dynamics

Alphas: high instinct, protective, physically dominant. Their scent hits strongest in a room.

Betas: the steady middle. Less driven by instinct, more flexible socially, often the ones keeping everyone from killing each other.
